On the 15th March another type of presentation was organized for the TNation employees. The presentation took place in the TNation Academy, held by our developer Stefan Vojkić. Two main focuses were determined; the test driven development (tdd), and the behavior driven development (bdd).
The participants had a chance to learn how tdd can help them write clearer code, and be more confident about their code. In addition, a process of developing real world application by using tdd and bdd was presented to them, as well as the way how to bridge the gap between tdd theory and real world implementation.
Two examples were featured, one with a typical tdd kata and one with a laravel application.
The programming language php with php unit and composer was used, however the principles can be applied in any other programming language, which makes this presentation of a great use.
